I was always under the impression that forged steel cranks shafts were better (stronger) than cast. However I have my eye on an aftermarket 3.75" stroker crankshaft that apparently is cast. Why would the manufacturer bother to make a high performance cast crank if froged is better. Any thoughts on this matter?
