My '96 is relatively new to me. The former owner took good care of it. After the usual mods she purrs. I never pushed the crazy switch (ASR) until just yesterday. Took of the bridle and LET HER EAT!

Auto 3.07 with new F-1 GY D3s. I'm not a kid in years but OMG this thing is awesome from the line (rural stop sign). It brutally spun the tires and then hooked up only to lose traction into 2nd again about 40 mph. That was a pucker. This car is much more powerful than expected.

The ASR function works perfectly and probably allows you to drive at all in the rain. But this beeotch is bad raw. God help the 4.11 LT-4 people.

I've been referring to the switch and ASR light as "you're going to die" light.

Turning the ASR off makes a world of difference in the way the car feels and drives - scary sometimes.

I'm glad it's there since I tend to race occaisionally and want all the power I can get going to the rear tires.

Fun, fun, fun!
