Where do I find the cruise control MODULE for a '96?

Behind passenger side instrument panel above the trim panel and knee bolster. It is mounted with the DERM module for the air bag system. You will probably need to learn how to disable the air bag to safely work in there and not cause a discharge.

Cruise Control
I had an issue with my cruise control on my '94, in case it is why you were asking where the module was located.
There is a plastic T valve located under the passenger side CORVETTE plastic rocker cover ( above your heads ), that could have a small hole on the under side of it.
This vacuum line also controls your A/C and heat controls.
I replaced the T valve ( $10 bucks ) and my A/C & heat controls and my cruise control instantly starting working again.
You might want to have a look at yours.
