Not trying to hijack this thread but...

aren't the edelbrock 454s the same rims that were on 'Elenor' from Gone in 60 Seconds?
 
I think so. When I bought them, that movie had just came out. The guy who mounted the tires said "Hey, these are the rims that were on Eleanor ".
 
I have a set of edelbrock eb 454 17 x 8 rims on my 72 with 255 45 17 bfg kdw tires. They have been on the car for 4 years now. I think they were made by elite rims for edelbrock. The quality and finish is good. They are fairly heavy though. I had a hard time getting them. It took the supplier a couple of months to get them at the time. I see vettes with the tII rims all of the time but never with any of the edelbrock line.
