cuting mufflers

Hi!
I'm corvette C4, 1995, owner and I'd like to cut off my rear mufflers.
Does anybody knows, could there be any negative effects in case of cuting off a rear mufflers? (I want to hear better sound).

Just get some stainless free-flows. I have the Flowmasters and I get a nice rumble without overkill. Croatia? Many vette clubs there?

What are free-flows and flowmasters?
Unfortunately, we have not any Vette club in Croatia. In my city(Rijeka) are just two Vettes, my and my friends!

You can order the mufflers from over there somewhere I'm sure, just do a search on your browser for auto supply places in major cities in your area. To see the mufflers just search "Flowmasters"...
