Hi folks,I am trying to find out if my head gasket is shot by using a compression gauge. Can anyone out there tell me what a good psi reading would be on my stock 1989 stock L98 cylinders? Many thanks in advance:thumb.

A healthy engine should have a reading of 150-160psi on the average. 120 is low but still ok if the engine doesn't burn oil or leak coolant. You can have a 5% difference reading between each cylinder.
