Does anyone know if the GM #14034808 76cc (non-Vortec) iron Gen I cylinder heads that come on the Goodwrench crate motor #10067353 are angle or straight plug? I'm worried about clearance with Dynomax Ceramacoat headers. If they are straight plug would they clear with a shorter plug like Champion RC Series plugs (RC12YC)?

I think these heads may have been standard on 84 and 85 Cross Fire C4s... All the dealers I've called can tell me is that they are "a lot like the old 882 heads".

Thanks!

I took a look at a pal's Goodwrench 350 that's been in his chevy pickup for about 2 years. It's a Non-vortec but it does have centerbolt valve covers ... no, I didn't pull one off to read the casting number ... but his does have straight plugs.

Have no freakin' idea how your dealers' monkeys make the connection to Olds88. Their good fortune that they don't work on my stuff.
