Dads 75 comes out of the body shop next week

Total redo top to bottom on his 75 vert he bought last year. He even had the engine painted. We did all of the maintenance last year and the cosmetics work was on the agenda. Will post pics when done. He painted it the original medium saddle. So my 81 is running good, his 75 is going to be stunning, but my brothers 77, well, thats going to be in my garage on jackstands for awhile (self-inflicted problem ).

Wow, now that's what I call Corvette love. Two generations of Corvette owners and going strong. Glad to hear the good news and look forward to seeing those pix. Sorry to hear about your brother's ride. Hopefully it won't be long before those horses are let free to roam.

Here are some pics of the finished product. Didn't get an engine pic yet, still got some odds and ends under there (new insulation on the hood, chrome goodies). What do you guys think?

Very nice indeed! I like the way that the color looks a little darker than the interior. It makes the interior "pop out" at you, and you really get to notice it. Hope that you're BOTH having fun doing the resto.......

It is the original color, which is called "medium saddle". Looks kind of goldish/bronze. I haven't seen a lot of them but I like it.
