Dash Alignment??

I'm a newbie, just bought my '92 coupe last friday. I still experiancing the "did I pay to much, maybe I should have looked at more" jitters!
Then I take it for a ride and none of that matters, the car is a joy to drive!!

My question is the where the dash and console meet, there is about a 3/4 inch gap. Can anyone tell me or refer me to info on adjusting. It doesn't cause a problem, just bugs me. I did a search on this site and couldn't find anything.

I don't know anything about the dash alignment, sounds like way too much gap to me, mine fits tight. As far as paying too much for the car, who knows for sure, just get in and drive the thing, the only thing you should be looking back on now is the other cars in the rear view mirror!
