need one .

I would go new. When I took my original out last year, it crumbled into pieces... and it didn't even look that bad.

Research the manufacturers (I'm not sure how many make this part) and buy from the low cost supplier.

Since you took yours off last year maybe you could tell me how difficult and how long it took and maybe some pointers?

Not sure if you have the Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM), but page 106 is VERY helpful. If you do not have the AIM, send me an e-mail and I'll forward the page.

It only took a couple of hours (especially quick when the old pad just fell apart) and fairly easy... but we all have different definitions of 'easy'. I had help too, wouldn't want to do it alone.

Hello bobchad...

I was fixing my gas circuit card and when i put everything back one screw chipped the dash pad and it looks bad, do you remember what you paid and did it come in the color you needed?

The color wasn't a problem and I don't remember what I paid. Their catalogue is online with prices, etc. I think it came from Corvette America and was cheaper than their price.

I only see the dash caps that are overlays, do they have the dash pads?

Wilcox says 450.00 and Last Detail says 470.00 not sure about shipping.

CS, seems like if you just have one chip from a screw you might think about using the Dye that is avaiable. Not sure how much you are into have it perfect but I have used the Dye in a spray can, it comes in a liquid also, and it matches good at least it did for my "76" Buckskin interior. You could use some commerical vinly repair and then dye it the correct color might save you a whole new dash! Just and idea.
