Daytime Running Lights

Anyone try this on a C3.....I always have the park lamps lit, just cuz we are used to the DRL's.....I checked out the website and it says they will work on any car, just checking to see if any of the 'older' Vettes have given them a try....thanks....dbj

Yes, my DRL module will work in your car. Do you have a wiring diagram? If you can send it to me, I can tell you exactly which wires to connect to.

DRL's sell more bulbs -yes. but .... reduce fuel mileage?????

I suppose your mileage will be reduced, simply because you are using more energy. But I doubt you can measure it.

As for replacing the bulbs more frequently, I have not had anyone complain about that. The 1157/2057 (bayonet style bulb) has a life rating of 1200 hours. If you drive an hour a day, that's over three years of service.

If you have the 3157 wedge style lamps you can replace them with the 4157, which is a long life lamp that GM puts into their cars. You can get them at any car parts place.
