Daytona Sunset Orange

I don't know if you fellas keep up with F-bodies but GM released a sunset orange metallic last year and by doing comparisons it looks identical or very slightly off. I know GM would never reuse a hue already on lower platform but the similarities are unreal. Any info from the fellas would be appreciated. Thanks

As a Texas Longhorn Ex I love it because it matches our jersey colors! That color would look good on ANY car.

Don't know if it's been used before but I like it enough to order it on my C6.

I talked to individuals who have viewed the C6 in Daytona Sunset Orange and they are saying its nothing like the F-Body's similar looking hue. Of course the latest trend by car manufacturers is adding metallic to the majority of their color lines.

that color will be cool for years to come. just look at warbonnet yellow from the early 70's, automakers are using it again. the new orange is great!

YUCK!!! Good thing you guys like it. Maybe if I were to see one in person it might change my mind. Wonder what it would look like with dark tinted windows? I am one of those plain guys and I agree with James Schefters' book "ALL CORVETTES ARE RED". To each his/her own. Maybe this could be the start of red being the least popular color.
