just tried starting my C5 and got zip. put a battery charger on it, got it started and it ran for a day. DID NOT START TODAY. Strange clicking sound from engine fuse box for a few moments after attaching battery charger. Battery appears to be new. Any suggestions.

Most likely a dead cell. Buy A New Battery !

It's very easy to do. I just replaced the factory battery in my car a month ago. Lasted more than 7 years so I can't complain. :L

I ended up going with an Interstate, it was about $70 from Sam's Club.

It's just the two terminals and a battery tray. That's it, should take you about 5 minutes.

Don't overtighten the terminals, they're only supposed to be about 11 lbs. on there.
