Hello:

I am hoping that someone "out there" can help me. I am trying to determine the Dealer # and Zone # for my 1967 Corvette. I am the fourth owner and have had lots of conversations and emails with the original owner. From the records he provided to me (copies of the old title work) and his recollection, we know the car was purchased new from Van T Chevrolet in Topeka, KS on or about May 19, 1967.

Is there a service or enthusiast that can help me to find the correct Dealer # and Zone # for this dealer?

And and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If the dealer is still in existance call them and ask them for those numbers . . if not I would call GM headquarters in Detroit and see if they can either look it up or point you in the right direction.

Do you have the tank sticker? Is it still on the car? Dealer # and Zone # are on it. Do you have the protectoplate book? This info may have been added to the back pages if the car was in for warranty work. Do you have the original window sticker? Dealer zone & # are on it. You may want to contact AlGrenniong@aol.com He has an extensive data base. Topeka may have been part of the Kansas city zone #05. Good luck please post your findings. I just checked the Dealer Codes on the NCRS board and they show a Van Chevrolet from zone 05 dealer # 885 from Shawnee Mission Kansas.
