Aloha again sir, C-4/5 specailist! I have another question... actually I have a buddy of mine who owns a C-5 '99. He wants to know if theres a way to turn on the fans of the C-5? like he used to be able to on his C-4 when he had it? like disconnecting the A.C plugs so the fans would turn on. He wants to try to drop the temp. of the engine when he's in line at the 1/4 mile tracks. and also if you may, would the M.A.T sensor relocation kit/mod be a worth while doing? Mahalo (thank you) ahead of time for your help once again!

HI there,
Well, there is the Vinci fan controller offered by a number of different vendors, in which you can turn your fans on and off, at different temperature levels.
However, you can turn on your AC to turn on the fans, which automatically turn on.
If you are at the drags however, I would get the Vinci controller.
Also, the MAT relocation kit attempts to fool the computer due to heat soak around the sensor, so this doesnt happen. I have not really seen any appreciable difference in power production, either way, if in the stock location, or relocated.
I would suggest not to waste your money on that particular mod.
