Deformed Rubber Thang

The rubber seal on the underside of the hood that seals the air intake to the air cleaner is very deformed with only about 30% of it open to let air into the driver side. What is this seal called? I've been looking for a replacement. I'm guessing that the reduced air could be "not a good thing". Please advise and thanks to all that have replied in to the past postings.

Are you sure that you are referring to a C5? There is no such seal.
