Detailing engine on a 79

I am going to detail my engine compartmemt and need to no the paint to use on the parts.I can not find a picture of the engine compartment anywhere.Can any one help me.THANKS MARK S
 
Look in the for sale ads on this site. theres a picture of a 78 pace car with about 400 miles on it, its got a nice engine pic. im also planning on detailing the engine soon and im using it as motivation. im going to use a semi-gloss paint, not sure what kind though.

IMHO... Krylon works well for satin parts that need to be black again. Dupli-Color has a high temp blue that will match what GM used on the engine. If you use the high-temp paint- wait a week until its cured and then shoot it with the high temp clear coat.

Below is a photo of the high-temp blue used on my old '78 C3's TPI retrofit. I decided to paint the master cylinder and booster in black.
