Dexron VI and Dexron HP Compatible

I was told by my local chevrolet dealer that my 2015 C7 Z06 A8 transmission can only use Dexron HP and my 2014 Impala LTZ A6 can use only Dexron VI and not to mix them because they are not compatible and none of the auto parts store carry the new Dexron HP . Is this correct ?
Can either of the transmission fluids be used for topping off the level ??? Thanks in advance !

No, you should only use Automatic Transmission DEXRON®-HP Automatic Transmission Fluid (GM Part No. 19300536, in Canada 19300537) which you should be able to purchase at your local Chevrolet Dealer.
