Did I drop it too much?

I think I might try it about a half-inch higher Bob. That way, it'll only take a few turns of a wrench, and the alignment geometry shouldn't be affected very much, if at all. One thing I don't wanna do is pay for another rear alignment. :hb
I think raising it about 3/8 - 1/2 inch will not only look better, but may improve the rear tire footprint on launch. The camber will increase slightly more positive, (top of tire moves outward), and when it does squat, the tire will be a little flatter, giving you the full tread width of contact patch. How much clearance did you have under the scattershield before lowering? How about after lowering?
Plus, with the rear slightly higher again, you may then have room to bring the front down about 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Now that would look really great (IMHO), I prefer the raked look as opposed to a higher front end on the C3, C4 and C5s.:cool

Sorry Bob, I forgot to get back to your question about scattershields.

A "scattershield" replaces the factory aluminum bellhousing (or steel, as in the case of other vehicles) with a SFI-approved steel bellhousing whose function is just what the implies, that is, to contain and shield the passengers from shrapnel caused by exploding flywheels and/or clutch assemblies.

I utilize a Lakewood bellhousing on my engine:

Ken, is that a miniram on there

Thanks Tony, but as Stan stated, I think I will raise it about 1/2 inch or so; it looked a little better that way to me too. I just wanted a little feedback from people here before I decided for sure, and everyone seems to be in agreement that the front's a little too high now, which is what I thought. ;shrug

I had about 3 inches or so of clearance before dropping the rear Stan, and it's about the same after; I did not lower the front.

I agree, but I've heard a lot of people complain when they drop 'em too low; I've also seen 'em where they're so low they wind up with the front tires meeting the hood. :L

Don, yes, that is a TPiS MiniRam III.

To LOW, I'd go up1/2 to 1" on the rear or drop the nose 1" Just my .02:cool
