Anyone know what is different about the throttle bodies? I always see that the years are listed as follows: 85 to 88
89 to 91
92 to 93
I'm looking to buy a used BBK and want to make sure it fits my 89 Vette.

there are differences in the way the throttle cables mount and the Idle mixture delivery between the 85-88 and the 89-91.
the 92-93 is for an LT-1

Tom, if I remember correctly, they changed from MAF to Speed Density for the '89-'91 model years, then reverted back to MAF in '92. That probably has something to do with why they list them for the different model years.

I don't know what the change was to the throttle body when they went to the LT-1. ;shrug
