When I had new tires and rims installed on my C5 I had the pressure senors removed. Now I have ongoing messages that my tire pressure is low and that the system needs to be serviced. At first this didn't bother me but now I am getting tired of this. Is there any way I can disable the tire pressure system from the message center?

Welcome to CAC! :w I believe that a custom tuner can turn those off, but I am not 100% positive on that. :thumb

Chevy Dealer can turn them off with a Tech II.:thumb

Some High end Scanners can too!:thumb:thumb

The TPMS can be programmed out. Most tuners cannot do it since it is not PCM related. You need a Tech II to do it. I have been told dealers will do it, apparently not deemed a liability issue. Otherwise find a shop with a Tech II or just live with your decision. Otherwise, sensors are not expensive and will affect the sale value.
