Displaying DTCs

Is it possible ot display the DTCs without a scan tool? I think this was possible on C4s with a combination of key on/off and/or button presses - but I can't find anything for C5s. The check engine light came on in my Z06, and now that it's out of warranty, I'd like to see what the code is before I go running to the dealer.

Thanks. I've got a lean condition on banks 1 & 2. I know what the problem is, and its an easy fix. Glad I checked before I ran to the dealer.
