I'm am going to put BIGGER anti sway bay on the front of my car this year. I have a used one available to me. Should I bother with it or just buy a new one. Cost isn't the issue.

A sway bar is just a spring. Unless it is damaged, bent or very rusty it will be just fine.

If a spring is kept loaded, eventually it does become less effective. As I understand it, a swaybar isn't supposed to be loaded. The only time that it loads is when the suspension works. When the car is sitting still, there shouldn't be any pressure. By that logic, a swaybar should last longer than a suspension spring. I wonder how swaybars fare in race conditions where they're worked almost as much as suspension springs?
