Do Z06 wider whells work on a 98 C5?

Hello
I was thinking of using the 1 inch wider Z06 wheels.
How do they fit the body lines of a 1998 ?
Do the tires now stick out 1 inch beyond the body and toss
road debris up on the paint ?.

Has anyone investigated this?

Are they noticable once installed or do they blend in like the std rims?

You could just get splash guards.

A friend of mine, put a set of stock Z06 wheels on his 98 White Coupe. They do look great!

The axles and wheel wells are identical between the C5 and Z06 so the wheels will work fine.

The Z06 tires come out to the extreme edge of the top most portion of the wheel well. They do not protrude past the body. The standard C5 wheels are inset maybe 10mm from the same point.
