Does a decent vac line diag exist

ive searched the past threads and came up with nothin except the one stuck to the rad supp which is not much help
recently completed a left to rhd conv so ive hade the car in a million bits but the vac lines had been butchered by a previous owner
any diag or assistants would be appreciated
mainly the lines around intake manifold etc

You could try using soapy water, and looking for bubbles...other then that, I don't have an idea, you can also use a vaccum gauge to make sure they are pulling vaccum at all. Hope this helps some...

thanx for your responses guys

any pix of original engine bays would be of great benefit
theres a black plastic valve located by the dizzy on the right hand side
it sits on the intake mani. and has a 2 pin wiring harness connected to it
im presuming it an egr control valve of some type
any pix of this valve or pipe routing for it would be great
its hard enough findind an 85 vet here let alone one that hasent been
butchered in the conversion process

I don't know, I took right to mean pass side. If you're right I'll need to find some different pics. I prefer Driver and Passenger vs. Left Right, no room for interpretation there

thanx 4 the pix

on close examination of the photo the egr valve sits behind the thermo housing
on my car its sitting next to the distibutor on the pass side (right) which is now the drivers side
looks like i will have to remove the plenum ,relocate the valve ,and change the plumbing. i should have known, it dident look rite when i got the car
