does anybody know if 72 frame will fir on 76

hi .......does anyone know if the front frame from a 1972 corvette will fit on a 76 vette i need to replace my front suspension bar and this guy is selling his and its close to my house....anyways i appreciate any and all help

The basic frame is the same but there are a few major differences. The biggest problem is that the '72 didn't have energy absorbing bumpers and modifying it to mount the bumper shocks would be a major undertaking.
