Does Auto or Manual rule?

Auto vrs/6-speed C-5

:w Good looking Vette or should I say Vettes! What is the silver one? I really like shifting the manual transmission on my Vette; but like I said it is not a daily driver. In traffic I still have the first to fourth deal on the manual and it doesn't bother me in traffic just to go to fourth. I know some that have by-passed this feature but I think it is kind of handy and it doesn't bother me at all.

Awesome look pair of Corvettes that's for sure.

I traded my 1999 automatic coupe for a 2004 6 speed coupe. The 6 speed is fun to drive, but at times, I miss the automatic.

IMO get an automatic if:
-You use it as a daily driver in heavy traffic
-You drive in a lot of parades
-You can't use a clutch (physical limitation)
-You have a wife that doesn't like stick (assuming you want her to drive)
-You live in a very hilly area with stop signs at the top of hills
-You drag race, especially bracket racing

Get a stick if
-You have a weekend Vette
-You run autocrosses or road tracks
-You like running up and down the gears and hearing the exhaust tones.
-You don't mind getting stuck in traffic and having to hold the clutch in for ages.
-You don't mind little old ladies in mini vans blowing you away at stop lights (unless you do an aggressive launch each time).

Really its up to you...

Thanks to all who provided feedback. I am definitely going to wait for exactly what I want.
