Just wanted to make sure everyone is aware that the vettes with magnetic ride control ships with suspension pucks that must be removed. I bought a 2003 in April and was surprised how hard it rode, after going to New York the other day I was ready to get rid of this thing only to find out the suspension pucks were still in, had them removed the other day and I can't even begin to tell you the difference, what a pleasure to drive.

I thought this was going to be a post about someone b!tching about the rough ride because of low profile tires, or a poor lowering job, etc.

Instead I found that this was really informative, thanks for sharing. I've never heard of the suspension pucks before - and I bet you just sent thousands of "mag" suspension owner's scurrying out to their garage to check their own rides. :D

Check out www.50thregistry.com - there are lots of stories there about people finding the pucks or shock stuffers still in place. What a mess!

On the home page, click the "Technical Info" link on the left and the first thing on the list of topics is "Shock Stuffers".
