Door Ajar Light On

I have a 1975 vette, the door ajar light goes on and off as you drive. I was told by the previous owner he replaced the switches and it still happened. I would appreciate any help if anyone else has run into this.

howdy, sometimes they just stick on mine and the light comes on. then i'll close the door a bit harder ,and poof.
also i noticed that if the right side of the hood isn't latched down the light will come on then too.

a while back I got one of those little round clear plastic furniture leg pads and stuck it on the bottom of the door. can't see it unless you look for it and it pushed on the switch hard enough to solve the problem

I did the same as Curtis. Went to Lowe's and purchased some round self adhesive furniture pads. They are the perfect small size and out of sight on the lower door.The problem was fixed. No difficulty in over one year!
