Hi!
I'd be very grateful if someone can help me.
I'm C4, 1995 owner from Croatia-Europe.
I have a little problem.
My door was fall down for a few mm.
Can I make It correct alone and how, or I have to go in the service?:cry

door adjustment

I adjusted my driver's door myself. Open the hood, open the door just far enough to put a floor jack under it, with a block of wood between the door and the jack. Loosen the bolts on the bottom hinge where it attaches to the body about 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Loosen the same bolts on the top hinge 1/2 to 1 full turn. Slowly raise jack and watch the bolts at the top hinge to see it move slightly. Tighten top bolts, lower jack, and test. Keep adjusting slightly until it is where you want it, then tighten all the bolts. You may have to move the striker bolt at the latch, but it should be fine if you are only needing minor adjusting.

It is more like a worn bushing/pin.

Open the hood and look back at the door hinge. Have a friend open the door and lift up and down on the back of it while you watch the hinge. Look for play inbetween the two sides of each hinge. Chances are, that is your problem.

You can fix it one of two ways. One, order a new hinge / pin bushing kit. If getting parts is a problem for you, you can machine a new bushing as long as you have access to some kind of machine shop.

If you let the problem go too long, the hing will eventually become so worn that you can't rebushing it and it will have to be replaced.
