So I'm setting the door gaps on my 64 prior to paint and everything is lined up perfectly, shimmed just right, even gaps, doors close great, my only concern is the clearance when I open the doors. The clearance at the mid line peak of the door/fender is very small when I just open the doors. Could someone just barely open their doors and see if that gap is supposed to be that tight? Mine looks to be about a 1/16th! Thanks!!

rowingone, On my 66 the gap with the door closed is approximately 3/16, with the door barely open it is hard to measure because the fender starts to over lap the fender but I measured a tad over 1/16. Steve

Thanks steve . . . thats what I have too . . just looks a little close.
