door keys won't work

;help I've had the 93 for about a month. The door keys do not open the doors. I hate to pay the vette mechanic to re-code the lock by removing door panels to correct the problem. I've lubed up the lock with no results. Anyone else had this problem?

;stupid I found the problem. I put wd40 in the locks and waited-now they work!!!!
