Door latch mechanism, revisited

I'm still trying to sort out my passenger door lock issue. Everyone carries the interior handle mechanism, but I can't seem to locate a source for the latch mechanism. Any ideas?

GM (Restoration Parts) carries the LH pn 20067167 lock but not the RH pn20067166 lock. ZIP has a listing (DR-315) for LH/RH but lists no price - just "call".

The least expensive would probably be from a Corvette salvage yard.

Check out ebay. I picked up the latches for my 69 for $50.00

Check the Paddock, I think they have what you are looking for--but pricey--PN 20067166 for $269.95. The Paddock to get a catalog. (I found it on page 172 in catalog P2V1)

I actually am friends with corvette dismantler here locally and he happened to have the lock mechanism available. So I got it from him for 50 bucks managed to get to the lock from the inside of the car With the door still locked shut. Opened the door and reinstalled the new lock mechanism. Not much fun but I now have a working door!
