Hi guys

How does the door handle box come out to replace a burned out bulb on my 89? Driverside but I'm sure its the same for both.

Thanks again

Byron

You can change the bulb without removing anything. The lens opens so you can reach the bulb from the front side. The lens is hinged at the front I believe, gently pry from the side that is not hinged and it will open for you and you will see the bulb. ;)

This has got me so damn upset again! Try to find information on how to change the bulbs in the door lights, in either the owner's manual that came with the car or the GM Service Manual, and you won't find anything! It's mentioned once in the owner's manual, and that is only on how to turn it on and off, and there is one sketch of it in the service manual--nothing else! :hb

Hi Ken

Thank you again...My owners manual was ordered today along with some floor mats.

This car has a few bugs but I think its going to be well worth the 7,000.00 and its already a lot of fun...My wife was helping me clean the leaves and plastic bag sherids from between the Rad. and A/C cond. coils, but it still over heats. Putting a T-Stat in tomorrow and flushing the Rad out...after that??? maybe check timing? I hope one of these things works to get the temp down so we can start enjoying the car.

Thanks again

Byron
