I was having problems with the driver door not locking and not unlocking when it was supposed to. I found after removing the door panel there the lock was a thin metal pipe that was bend a few ways and was "supposed" to be in this plastic C piece. This is attached to the back of the door via an black rubber accordian thing.
I put a twist tie to hold the metal pipe into the locking plastic C thing. But now i'm finding the rubber accordian thing when i try to lock makes a grinding and doesnt lock all the way. Its working better, but still i'm worried it may not really be locking correctly.
Any ideas to replace?
