I am glad you asked, I though I was just stupid for not knowing what a door popper is.

Sorry Guys and Gals, I suppose I should have explaned. A door popper is a device street rodders use to allow them to shave the door handles and still be able to open their car door. It is just an electric solenoid that gives a quick Tug on a small steel cable attached to your inner door opening mechanism and there by replacibng the stock door handle. They make a Audible POP when they activate, hence the name. They are mostely used when rodders remove their door hanles to give that nice smooth look by weling up the hole in the door panel.

I am not sure if I would glass over the stock handle in the top of the vette door, I kinda like the looks of them, but I think it would be kind of cool to be able to open the doors from a distance. I was also thinking of a remote starter, Just a couple of thoughts

Personally, the handle I like. It's that lock that bugs me. :eyerole Takes away from the otherwise perfectly smooth lines.

For me, the pleasure is in the simplicity. The engine, the interior, the lack of airbags, the doors, the whole "this connects to this so this must be it" thing, all of it. Adding that would complicate a C3.

I'm not against modern amenities, but why mess with a good thing? My 2 cents.

mine had em when I bought it tied into an alarm system seem to work good, despite the crappy installment
