After being ousted by GM just before Christmas, Doug Fehan is set to return to Corvette Racing as a Brand Ambassador in June

A week before Christmas, GM announced that Doug Fehan, Corvette Racing's Program Manager, had retired from the Corvette Racing team and that Laura Wontrop Klauser, who manages the Cadillac DPi-V.R and Camaro GT4.R programs, would take his place.

Shortly after GM's announcement, Fehan told the media that he was ousted.

Now, in a strange twist of events, AutoWeek magazine has reported that Fehan will return to the Corvette Racing team as a "Brand Ambassador" responsible for interacting with Corvette owners and racing fans at Corvette Racing events.

Fehan will debut in his new role at the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix in Belle Isle during the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship set to take place this coming June 11 - 14th.
