Dressing up the intake manifold

My aluminum intake is dull. Is there a product available that I can apply (w/o removing it) that will restore the finish to improve its appearance?

Eastwood's www.eastwood.com has a spray paint called Aluma blast. Clean the intake, mask off anything you don't want painted and spray very light coats (fogging) til you get the results you like. I'm not certain how well it will hold up but it's worth a try. I've used the paint on my Alternator and expansion tank and liked the results, it freshened them right up. It does look like Aluminum. The key is LIGHT coats from a distance, almost a dry coat.

Well I need to clean up a rear end made of aluminum.I do air condtioning repairs as a proffetion and we have a product called coil brightner to clean the aluminum coils in the systems. I am going to try it on my rear end to see what it does .I will post the out come.I also have an old aluminum intake manifold I will try it on. For my 1966 I had my intake manifold "re-skinned" by a fellow named Jerry Macneish it looks brand new .

Did not get a chance to try it yet, some time tomorow Ill get to it

I used Alumiblast on my intake manifold and it looks fantastic.... BUT it does not hold up to the fuel from my leaky holley.
