I am thinking about ordering the crank pulley from mid america, and the MAT relocating kit. How much will I suffer with my accesories, like the dash and what not with the different pulley? Will I even be able to see it? I know I will have to put on a different belt. I have not seen any other crank pulleys for my car. Are there any better?

You shouldn't suffer a bit. Keep an eye on your alternator to make sure it doesn't fall below acceptable levels (13.8v is that to me) at cruise.

Is the one at Mid America worth 70 bucks? I don't mind spending the money, I just want the best for it.

Well, this is all opinionated, but to me no piece of round metal is worth $70. :D I bought a used one for $35.

My experience is with my daily driver Subaru. I've found that when I'm using all the accessories (headlights, defroster, rear defroster, mirror defroster, etc) then the voltage dips WAY down at idle and all the lights dim. At cruise, everything is fine (your alternator puts out way more than needed normally anyway). I also found that my A/C wasn't as cold, which would bother me in the Outback more than in the Vette since the OB is so much bigger inside.

I did notice more power - nothing scientific, but you can feel it by the SOTP method.

My only experience with one was on a '90 Suburban. There was a barely timeable change the 0-60, but the increased (parking) steering effort made me wish I'd never bought/installed it. It was too much of a PITA to change back to stock.

An undersized alternator pulley can be used in conjunction to keep that ratio the same.
:w

So do you think it is worth the extra money to get the other pulley just for drivings sake? Would anybody know if I can get a belt either one of those sizes without ordering one from Mid America. Anybody have a setup like this that gets their belts elsewhere?
