I was checking my angles on the tranny(pan mounting surface and tailshaft end) and starter mount surface. Shouldn't they give me the same angle?

Mine do not, I get 3 degree on the starter surface and 0 degree on the tranny pan surface or tailshaft end. I tried the oil pan and I also get 3 degrees.

Thank for any info

Chuck

Nope, not necessarily. The only place where it is really important that the angles are the same is at both ends of the driveshaft. The pan may not sit level to the centerline of the trans. The angle of both the pans is pretty much irrelevant.

Thanks John,

I still need to order my driveline, do you know what the biggest dia. shaft the stock tunnel will hold?

Chuck

Chuck,

I don't know what the limit is, but a 3" shaft will fit fine. I used an aluminum 3" shaft on mine from Denney's and it works fine.
