I have a 2007 z51 automatic vette . I have been having a driveline noise issue that is so annoying that I am starting to hate driving my baby. When I am cruising with accelerator off ,coasting, whenever I step back on throttle it makes a bang noise in the rear of the vette . I took it in several times. They changed the bolts mentioned in tab also changed differential fluid .All to no avail. The noise seems to be excess slop in the driveline. They now say it is normal for the car. It never did it before and I only have about 56 k . Is it driveshaft .torque tube connecting discs or tranny. If it is up on a lift what maneuvers would u recommend to diagnose the problem . I know they never spent much time on it. Thanks

First thing that I would do is check the flex plate bolt torque. Remove the rubber inspection plugs at the engine and transmission bell housings, while there then one could check for play in the torque tube as well
