I'm doin it, I'm using my Vette all winter! So far the experience is: at very low temp, like around 10 degrees or maybe anywhere under freezing the engine temp never goes above 164 degrees (this is an 85 with aux. oil cooler and using 5-30W Mobil 1). I don't think this this car will get hot that much in very warm weather. The other things: I notice that the rear shocks 'groan' or deep squeak when I go over bumps(at 10 deg.) and last nite we had some snow,(1 +) roads were fine except for the salt assult the car took, but my driveway, at an incline, was slippery, and felt a little fishtail going up. I admit that I have another Vette(93) that sits all winter, but I rather be driving this 85 more than anything else. Oh yeah, one more thing, the door locks got kind of stuck/frozen like in the old days.(this car uses a key entry)
