My 95 6 spd is My problem is this; when the car is driven either in stop and go traffic or run very hard the transmission begins to make a knocking noise. The noise will stop when the clutch pedal is pressed to the floor. It only makes this noise when it is sitting at idle and when the car is warm. It has been to several mechanics and each time they give me a different reason. They have suggested it is either the dual mass flywheel, the throw out bearing, or it just needs lubrication. Anybody know what the problem is?
Thanks

IMHO, the throwout bearing. My Centerforce clutch has done this since new, and there's a note in the box saying that you'll hear that noise if you use their throwout bearing. They say it's normal; since yours isn't a CF (from what you said, it's stock) I'd say it's not normal...
