Craig,

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. Sounds like this has not been a good summer... hang in there and come back to the boards when you can.

If you end up selling it, will you replace it? And with what? They're not making any more C5 Z06's you know...better hang onto one that you know and love.

Tammy

Tammy, I think I agree with you. Just keep it. We'll have to see how it turns out. I never knew how anal and emotional I could be until getting this car.

Sorry to hear about your mishap.

If you find a decent bodyshop matching the paint should not be a problem. I just put on an aero kit, front spoiler, rocker panels and a small rear spoiler. My body shop guy sprayed a test panel with the GM Mellineum yellow right from the can and it matched perfectly. So he went ahead and finished my kit. It came out perfect. Even if they get the GM paint and its off a shade they can make adjustments so it will come out OK. The key, as you already know is to find a body shop guy who is a perfectionist. Keep looking, word of mouth usually will lead you to the right place.

Good luck

A wrecked vette--Have the ins. co total it--you will never be happy as NO body shop can duplicate factory--also a good eye will see its been wrecked!
