You know folks, the last few years I have gotten the courage up and stepped out on that proverbial limb to see how you, the fans, feel about "Boogity Boogity Boogity, Let's Go Racin' Boys!" I do care what you think about it. I'd like to know whether you like it or not.

Now last year, as you might remember, someone hacked into the web site and sabotaged the voting by flooding it with thousands of bogus votes so the poll had to be removed.

See here's the thing from my perspective. I travel all over the country whether it's for appearances, or for FOX or just with the family on trips. It doesn't matter if I go to a mall, a coffee shop, or a restaurant, wherever I go, fans will come up and tell me they love it when we start the races the way we do. It makes me feel good when they say they love "Boogity Boogity Boogity, Let's Go Racin' Boys!"

That was the whole point of it from Day 1. It was never meant to be anything more than to have fun and get people excited. I've told you this before many times, but hearing "green, green, green -- go, go, go" just doesn't cut it for me. Despite how corny some of you might think "Boogity Boogity Boogity" is, from little kids who can barely talk to grandmas and grandpas, I constantly hear from folks in person, via e-mail or regular mail how they love it.

I've even had a Mom tell me she calls her family in to watch the start of the race by yelling "Boogity Boogity Boogity" to them. Stuff like that makes me feel good. But let's open the voting again and see how you all feel. Let's have some fun with it this year!

Personally I like it. I do think it may sound just a bit on the childish side, but then I also feel like most people need to chill out and get a little more in touch with their inner child anyways! lol

I was going to say "What in hell are talkin' about Charlie " but I won't post that.:D

DW makes my skin crawl .His eye lids must even be brown.;squint:

Boogity Boogity Boogity...

Well Now,after a year I've figured out who is leve'n that text message on my cell phone sometimes on the weekend!!:chuckle:chuckle:chuckle

:D:D:D

It is ignorant and embarrassing to an auto racing enthusiast. Lose it and tell Larry "Mac" to shut the h up at the begining of a race. His "tighten up them thar belts Darrell" attempt at a catch phrase is just plain stupid. I can't wait for ESPN to replace Fox.

I want Ned Jarrett back!:rotfl

That probably wouldn't be bad now that DJ is retired, considering he's the only driver he ever (and constantly) talked about, so without him racing, egg head Ned would probably never say a word.

Seriously though, I haven't minded DJ in the comentating booth so far when I've heard him doing it.

i wish someone would slap waltrip in the mouth..... hes a big part of the reason o barely watch sprint cup anymore. toyota has nothing to do with it.
