I am getting ready to perform a water pump/Opti-Spark replacement on an LT1 and was wondering if anyone had installed a DynaSpark. It appears to be a quality product and an improvement over an Opti-Spark module. Any coments would be appreciated.

Larry, Sam Taylor Chev http://www.samtaylor.com/html/parts.html sells the OE opti for about $280. Dyno Tech sell the Dynaspark for about $600. If you read the link in the previous post, I think you will buy the Dynaspark. Considering the labor involved, including a new water pump replacement with each opti change, the extra cost is a wise investment, not counting "peace of mind" knowing that you won't be stranded with a failed opti.
