Early 72...T3 headlights or powerbeam?

Did an early 72 ( October 71 production) come originally with the T3 headlight bulbs ( triangle with vertical lines ) I think the GM #4001. Or did they come with the GM powerbeam bulbs. I think that GM # is 6001?

T-3 The 1970-72 NCRS Judging Guide says "with the T-3 enclosed in a series of rectangles and squares at the base of the lamp."
