Easy Entry does not work

My Easy Entry does not work I reset the fob. Checked all the fuses everything else works except easy entry and memory seat. I have a 1998 C5 corvette. Can anybody give me there ideas on what else to check.:thanks:

I would like to know on this as well, my 2000 C-5 works most of the time but tales spells and every now and then it doesn't work. What would be a good place to start on this folks?

OK, I will ask these questions first.

Did it ever work for you?

If not, have you selected Easy Entry ON from the DIC options?

Do you have a telescoping steering wheel?

Do all your other Memory settings work? Mirrors etc.?

Answer these questions but I think I already know the problem.

The seat had worked and then stopped

Easy entry is on on the DIC options

the mirrors don't work seats don't work


I have checked all the fuses several times I checked the wire harness for the drivers seat, I have checked the seat control module because there was thread about that there could be a loose connection on the printed circuit board. I also reprogramed the key fob

any help would be much aperciated;help

OK, pull your DIC codes and let's start from there.

Memory for the mirrors is in each door module and the seat Memory us in the seat module.

After you pull and record your codes, disconnect the battery for several minutes and then reconnect it to see if the electronics just need rebooting.

I checked all the codes said door modules no codes now it tells me that the SCM has no communications. I will have to check fuse #4 tomorrow this is driving me crazy
