I just received my new front EBC Green Stuff pads from The Tire Rack. I just did a search on one of the other forums for proper do it yourself installation. When I did this I found a few postings about these pads that alarmed me. Some said they ruined rotors and others said they were the best things ever. I have always heard they were great pads. They have always worked excellent on my motorcycles. My question is: If you have these pads on your C5/Z06, how do you like them ? Any problems ?
By the way my car is driven 90% on the street. I have a feeling I will get plenty of responses about all kinds of different pads. But if you have or had the EBC's, please let me know what you think. I can very easily send these back or put them on. I am just REALLY sick of cleaning the brake dust off of the front wheels.
Also :
I have installed pads on older non ABS cars. Will this install be like changing pads on any other car ?
