ECM Cooling Sensor Prob....

NEED HELP!!!!Driving last night a little road lice (Honda all japped out) got on it next to me and I needless to say BLEW the rice off of him... Any way I ran it hard over 100mph.. After I backed off I noticed in the digital display on cool said 142 the analog read normal alittle above 1/2 way.. About 5min later the check eng light came on. The car seem to run normal just stuck at 142. The next day even cold the dig still read 142 and eng light was still on and the fans were running (no a/c). Again the car ran normal. I popped the hood and found the belt 1/2 gone and a peice of it near the fans. I pulled the codes off the ECM they were 15 (Coolant sensor circuit low) and 28 (Quad driver module number 3) I figered the sensor was bad causing the fans to run so I got a belt and a sensor diconected the batt and Installed . Powered back up and started no help same 142 dig cooling.. Any help would be great

Sounds like a bad sensor. You have a sensor at the front of the intake that sends the temp signal to the ECM, which then goes through the CCM and to your Digital display.

On the Passenger side Head, there is another Temp Sensor used for the analog gauge. this is why the two gauges are not always exactly the same. sounds like the temp sensor needs to be replaced.

I already replaced the sensor on the front of the eng. no change. My thoughts are that a piece of the belt might have hit something to cause this.... though the wires all look good in that area.. not sure how to check the sys for further trouble shooting
